Refurbishment update

Work is continuing to upgrade the facilities at Archdeacon’s House. Our in-house maintenance caretaker and handyman, Miguel is performing sterling work and, barring new flooring to be installed in the reception, the main ‘front’ porch entrance and dining room, is close to completion of this year’s commitment to improving the environment at the club.

The building generates a never-ending number of areas needing careful attention and work was needed to make the clubhouse wind and watertight and ready for decoration.

“We’ve uncovered some areas that have required much more work than first envisaged,” said Club General Manager, Andrew Vales, “however, I am confident that the wonderful work undertaken by Miguel, will stand us in good stead for the future and we will have a club that that is both updated, retains its heritage feel and of which we can all be proud.”
