Spotlight on Reciprocal Clubs…

Membership to the Ipswich & Suffolk Club provides access to reciprocal clubs that have agreed that our members may, by prior arrangement, use their facilities.

The club currently has arrangements in place with clubs across the UK and Channel Islands and around the world.

To use this fantastic benefit as part of the membership package, a letter of introduction is provided by our Club General Manager, followed by members dealing directly with the ‘host’ club to make specific arrangements for the visit.

To tempt you to try out this opportunity, we’re throwing a regular spotlight on each of the clubs in question…starting with the Phyllis Court Club in Henley On Thames.

This distinguished club by the river was established in 1906 and is set in 18 acres of land by the Thames. It provides hotel accommodation to members and reciprocal visitors, which proves especially popular during the Henley Regatta.

Those who choose to visit Phyllis Court are able to try out the wide variety of dining options and restaurants close to the river.

The main club facilities are set in a grand manor house, which provides an excellent base for exploring Henley or the Chilterns countryside beyond.
