Refurbishment programme underway…

This exciting investment, in the future of Archdeacon’s House, commenced with the redecoration of the reading room and will continue this first phase with an updating of the reception area and a re-imagining of the main restaurant. 

Further plans for phase 2 including an upgrading of the bar, terrace and toilets are in the pipeline, budget permitting. The board, along with Andrew our club manager are carefully balancing the need to bring our facility up to date but with a strong commitment to reflect the heritage of our building. 

A special mention and thanks are in order to our new club caretaker and handyman, Miguel, who’s expertise and hard work has helped to make this work affordable and, along with his commitment to attention to detail, is already beginning to transform our facility.
