snooker at the Ipswich and Suffolk ClubThe Ipswich and Suffolk Club boast a superb snooker facility with two first class tables in gererously proportioned adjacent rooms, conveniently located next to the club bar!

Here a thriving snooker section plays informally on a daily basis and throughout the year in club and inter-club competition.

The snooker section has for many years been under the capable stewardship of Snooker Captain David Green, who with the help of the snooker committee makes sure that the full programme of matches are always well attended and much enjoyed by all.

The first Wednesday of every month sees the meeting of the club Book Group where an eclectic range of modern and classic literature are discussed by its members.

All members are welcome to come along and join the discussions plus enjoy an informal light lunch afterwards

Bridge at the Ipswich and Suffolk ClubThe Ipswich and Suffolk Bridge Club meets every Tuesday morning for bridge in the Adam Room ahead of an enjoyable lunch in the club restaurant.

Here duplicate bridge is keenly contested by members and guests under the watchful eye of resident bridge tutor and competition Director Steve Croucher.

Many of our members are keen amateur golfers and the club’s golf section provides regular opportunities to play in friendly competition.

Matches are played annually against local rivals, the Bury Farmers Club and the Colchester Garrison Officers Club and every year the Barnard Cup (stableford golf day) and Northgate Trophy (knockout) are keenly contested.
